The Greatness Of The Roman pass’s impressive. It is one of the most picturesque in Ukraine. It is located near C. Yablunitsa, which belongs to the Nadvirnyansky district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is a combination of basins of Prut and black Yew tree. The pass has an impressive height of 931 meters. Yablunitsky pass creates a natural border between the Transcarpathian and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. At all times of the year, there are a lot of tourists on the pass, shops with Souvenirs, many places where you can stop for a rest and a snack. The famous Berkut pension with a restaurant is located here. There is also a special area for photography on the territory of the pass. It offers a beautiful view of the Yasinya village and the mountains Twins.The highway laid through the pass entered the Book of records of Ukraine as the highest mountain in the country. This is the route N09, which combines Ivano-Frankivsk and Nadvirna with Rakhiv and Khust.
In the name of Yablunitsky, I love the old-timers of the Tatar pass. Behind the legends, through the CEI pass in 1241 roci to Hungarian Kingdom the hordes of the Tatar-Mongol Khan Batu broke in and devastated almost all of Central Europe. The pass is also called Golden eagle and Askalski.
