The popular Dragobrat ski resort is located at a distance of 18 kilometers from Yasin. It is listed in the book of records of Ukraine as the highest sports facility in the country (height of 1450 meters). The base is located in the eponymous tract on the North-Eastern slope of the Svidovets ridge at the foot of Stog mountain (1707 meters) and Bliznitsa massif (1883 meters), at the junction of coniferous forests and the Alpine zone. Thanks to its unique location, where the horseshoe mountains protect the Dragobrat tract, a unique microclimate has been formed here, which is almost ideal for skiing. The season runs from November to may, and in 1993 it lasted until July 15.
Nikolai shugay was born in Kolochava on April 3, 1898. He was the eldest son of a woodcutter's family. Illiterate, didn't go to school. The villagers remembered him as a cheerful guy, but considered him a bully. In 1917, he defected from the army. Soon he was caught and sent back to the army, from where he managed to escape again. Once shugay killed two Czech gendarmes who were going to catch him. Since that time, for Nikolai and his younger brother Yuri, the forest has become home. Soon, the pregnant wife of Nicholas Ergy arrested, and hamlet Kolochava Lazy put a contribution in the amount of 15 thousand Koruna. In the vicinity of the village, a pass regime was introduced, and all the farmers were issued personal identification cards. All crimes in the vicinity were automatically attributed to the Shugai. At the end of 1920, Nicholas was suspected of killing a kolochavsky gendarme, in February 1921, he was credited with killing a fellow villager, and in March – 4 Jews from the village of soyma. The investigation proved that shugay killed his neighbor Ivan Derbak and burned down his house.
The village of Izki is located along the road from Volovets to Mezhgorye, just behind the village of Pilipets. It has a population of just over 800 people. Once the village of Pilipets was not a separate locality, but was a part of Izok
Kelechin is known for being the birthplace of the first President of the Carpathian Ukraine, Augustin Voloshin. In the village there is a memorial plaque dedicated to an outstanding countryman. In addition, there are plans to build a Museum dedicated to him.
Not far from the village is a unique source of natural sparkling mineral water "Kelechin". This water is used in the treatment of the cardiovascular system, gynecological diseases, digestive organs, and even radiation sickness. There are no analogues in the world classification of mineral waters of kelechinskaya. The locals call mineral water region "bukutamu". It is planned to build a sanatorium based on the unique mineral water in Kelechin.
Uzhgorod castle is about 1000 years old. At first, the fortress was made of wood. And the walls around were built in 1653-1658, just during the Polish invasion
