This date is considered the founding day of the village. However, the village day in Repinny is not celebrated on this day, but on October 15. This is due to the fact that on October 15, 1944, the troops of the 4th Ukrainian front entered Repinne.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIn the center of the village, to the left of the highway, you can see a silhouette<a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/istorija-zakarpatskih-derevjanih-hr\/\">wooden<\/a> trehsrubnaya Demetrius Church. It was built in 1780 from spruce beams in the style of<a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/derev-jani-hrami-tjachivshhini\/\">Maramorosh <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/klasifikacija-zakarpatskih-derevja\/\">gothics<\/a>. In this <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/derev-jani-hrami-serednogo-vodjanogo\/\">temple<\/a> preserved works of artistic carving of the XVIII century and tempera painting of the XVII century. After all, according to legend, once upon a time from<a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/istorija-mista-hust\/\">khustsky<\/a> a poor man has escaped to the mountains, and far away, so that the Lord&#8217;s servants will not find him. For the night, the poor man perched under a willow tree on the Bank of the river. But he could not sleep \u2013 because of the strong wind, the willow was loud all night. In the morning, the farmer looked around the surrounding area and decided to build here<a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/tradicijni-oberegi-zakarpatskoi-hati\/\">house<\/a>and settle down, and cut down the hateful willow that prevented sleep. But the distinction remains-in the name of the village, which has survived to this day.\r\n\r\n\r\nAccording to another legend the name of the village comes from<a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/nacionalnij-prirodnij-park-zacharovana-dolina\/\">rocks<\/a>, which once towered over the river and was called Ripa.
