The smithy Museum is also unique in that it combines three industrial epochs: craft (because there is a master and apprentices), manufacture (because there is a division of labor) and factory (because people’s work is partially replaced by machinery). In the forge, you can see a furnace and four hammers weighing up to 125 kilograms. To work with them, 16 blacksmiths were needed, and now they are forced to move by water jets that fall on a wooden wheel. Of the five such wheels, only two remain. When “Gama” products (shovels, hoes, axes, horseshoes) were exported to Hungary, Romanian<\/a>, Yugoslavia. Until the 1990s, Gamora operated at full capacity, but the floods of 1998 and 2001 destroyed the dam in Lisichevo, and Gamora suspended its operation. At the end of 2001, the building was leased by the Petrovtsev family, they built a new dam and repaired the forge. In July, the forge annually hosts the all-Ukrainian festival of blacksmithing arts<\/a> “Gamora”.<\/p>\n

Entrance to the forge-the museum<\/a> Gamora is free. There is a cafe next to the blacksmith shop where you can enjoy national dish<\/a>:bograch, Hominy, tokan<\/a>.<\/p>\n
