The Village Of Ust-Chorna Tyachevsky district<\/a> Transcarpathian region is located at the source of the Teresva river, which is formed by the confluence of the Brusturyanka and Mokryanka rivers. The first inhabitants of this village were German<\/a> migrants. In this part of Transcarpathia, the process of German colonization began in 1775. The Germans were engaged in harvesting and fusing wood. Firstly Germans<\/a> they settled in the village of German Wet. At that time, there were only about a dozen verkhovinsky houses there. Fifty years later, the number of German colonists increased so much that they were forced to go down the Teresvyanskoyu valley downstream in order to find a place for a new settlement. They liked the extended part of the valley. A surprisingly picturesque wide field among the mountains became an ideal option for the construction of a new settlement. For the beauty and luxury of the Germans called the new settlement founded in 1825 K\u00f6nigsfeld( K\u00f6nigsfeld), which means “Royal field”.<\/p> \n \n

The modern name of Ust-Chorna appeared thanks to the Czechs in the 1920s and 1930s. The fact is that the Black stream flows into the Teresva river. It was during the Czechoslovak period that Ust-Chorna became a popular holiday destination and Hiking<\/a>.<\/p> \n \n

Nowadays, Ust-Chorna is a good option for winter holidays. The village is located in Gorgany at an altitude of 553 m. There are ski trails of various levels of complexity with a length of about 1000 m. They are equipped with rope and chair lifts with a length of 250 meters, 400 meters and 750 meters. Skiers mostly stay at the popular tourist base “Christmas Tree”.<\/p> \n \n
