The village of Pilipets is located at a distance of 19 km from district center<\/a> Transcarpathian region Volovets village<\/a>, on the way to Mizhgirya<\/a>. The village is located at an altitude of more than 700 meters above sea level.<\/p>\n

About this village is first mentioned in historical sources in 1463. Today, the village has a population of about 1,100 people. According to legend, the village was named after its founder, Philip (Philip).<\/p>\n

However, in winter it can be very cold (up to -30 o C). The ski slopes in Pylypets are located on the slopes of the mountains Gimba and Ryapushka. The village has three large ski lifts “” comfort\u00bb, \u00abBorzhava<\/a> Poloniny” and “MAGURA”. The most popular among them are the “Borzhava valleys” with a length of up to 1500 meters and a huge height difference of 402 meters.<\/p>\n
