In the Transcarpathian region there are 456 nature-protected objects that cover an area of 177 thousand hectares. Tourists from all over the world come to Carpathian biosphere reserve<\/a>, Uzhansky national natural Park<\/a>, National natural park “Synevir”<\/a> and “Enchanted land”<\/a>, regional landscape parks “Partisanski”, “Bruise”<\/a>. The region also has 60 nature reserves, 340 natural monuments, 9 protected areas, 32 monuments of landscape art and 4 dendroparks<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of these protected areas is unique in its own way. Footing\r\nThe Carpathian biosphere reserve dates back to 1968, and since 1992\r\nit is part of the UNESCO network of biosphere reserves. Almost two and a half percent\r\nThe Ukrainian Carpathians are under its protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Uzhansky national natural Park, it is a composite\r\npart of the trilateral Polish-Slovak-Ukrainian International biosphere\r\nreserve “Eastern Carpathians”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The creation of the national Park “Synevir” is connected\r\nwith the need to preserve the picturesque mountain lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first reserves on the territory of Transcarpathia appeared in the beginning\r\nXX century. And today their number is growing, and their territories are increasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
