This original mini-sculpture was unveiled on November 27, 2016, and became the 27th miniature of Mikhail Kolodk in Uzhgorod<\/a>. Kucia made from bronze and mounted on a Botanical promenade (“the funds”) near the regional Philharmonics<\/a> (GPS: 48.621586, 22.299435).<\/p>\n\n

according to the legend, before you go fishing, you must RUB the nose of this bronze worm for a good bite. That is why the sculptor made the nose large enough to last longer.<\/p>\n\n

Local is not a surprise, but tourists scratching the back of his head that \nwell for Kukoc such. The worm Kukots is a character in the popular Hungarian \na children’s cartoon called “Big ri-ri-ri fishing”. The author of this \nanimated masterpiece schedule, laureate of the Kossuth, Ferenc Sogc. This one \nthe cartoon consists of only 26 episodes, but this was enough to make the whole \na generation of children, including Transcarpathians, loved this fairy tale. At one time almost \nevery third resident of the city fell asleep to this fairy tale.<\/p>\n

In the moat lived a giant fish, covered with gilded scales, with large blue eyes and wings instead of fins. It was similar to a long snake and protected the inhabitants of the castle from the attacks of enemies, it was called Uzhserpente. People said that it was the beloved girl of Philip Druget who was charmed, who continued to serve him in this form and was immortal. Even when the count died, she continued to protect the castle until 1514, but during the great peasant uprising led by Gyorgy Doge (leader of the peasant anti-feudal struggle), the city was completely destroyed. All managed to survive, began to ask Kukosa to help them save Wisespent. After hearing these pleas, a small worm appeared and helped them save a giant fish-a snake, it was moved and released into the local river, which then became known as Uzh<\/a>. Looking into the magic eye Userpaint, Kukoc turned to stone, and so remained in Uzhgorod forever. Fishermen say that even today it can be seen near the mini-sculpture of Kukots, which is located on the Embankment near the regional Philharmonic, but it is impossible to catch it.<\/p>\n
