Uzhgorod mini-sculpture ship “Carpathia” is located on Theater square next to Nicholas.<\/a> on a handrail Uzha<\/a> (GPS: 48.622083, 22.298086). It was installed on April 15, 2013. The author of the sculpture is Mikhail Kolodko. It was installed 101 years after the tragic death of the Titanic. The business developed very successfully and Samuel Cunard became a millionaire and the father of 9 children. He died in London in 1865, and it was then that a mini-sculpture of the dream ship “Carpathia” appeared in Uzhgorod, and a new cunarder (the so-called liner of the company “Cunard Line”) with the name “Carpathia” was launched on August 6, 1902.<\/p>\n
