The author of this bronze mini-masterpiece is Mikhail Kolodko. He said that the idea of installing a mini-sculpture to a genius \u043a\u043e\u043c\u043f\u043e\u0437\u0438\u0442\u043e\u0440\u0443<\/a>To Mozart, it occurred to him during a trip to Vienna<\/a>.Opened a mini-monument to Mozart in Uzhgorod <\/a>on the genius’s birthday-January 27, 2015.<\/p>\n\n

It is difficult to overestimate the role of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the world \nmusic history. He was born a real child Prodigy. From three years old small \nMozart was already playing the piano. He wrote his first works at the age of 6. For \nin his short life, he wrote more than 600 different genres of music. In our times \nhis melodies are heard everywhere \u2013 on the phone, in movies, and, of course, in concert halls.<\/p>\n\n

The fate of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s youngest son, Franz \nThe Xaver is inextricably linked with Ukraine. For a long time, he lived in Lviv. Exactly \nhere he wrote all his works. In Lviv, Mozart Jr. was founded \nthe first secular choir, which later started the musical society \nSaint Cecilia and the Institute of singing, which became the city’s first music school. In \nIn 1826, the talented Franz Xaver performed at a concert in St. George’s Cathedral \none of his father’s most famous unfinished works is Requiem. \nMozart Jr. often toured with concerts in the Ukrainian lands and during \nhis concert halls were always crowded.<\/p>\n

Nadezhda Popadyuk tells a romantic legend about this mini-sculpture in her book “Uzhgorod \u2013 the world capital of mini-sculptures”. According to legend, after one of Mozart’s concerts in Vienna, he was approached by a distressed young man who asked composer’s<\/a> write him a Serenade for the girl he loves, and refuses to marry him. Mozart was very sorry for the guy, but at the same time he was struck by his courage, determination and ingenuity. He agreed not only to create a work of love, but also promised to play it for a wayward girl. The husband was very happy, but also confused, because the beloved lived in Uzhgorod, and this intrigued Mozart even more and they went to the city together. On the way, the man said that the girl works as a piano teacher, so Wolfgang offered to immediately go to her music school. When they entered the classroom, the girl, seeing the genius composer \u2013 Mozart, who sat down at her piano and began to perform a gentle Serenade, was speechless. Then there were declarations of love, a lot of wine was drunk in the “Owl’s nest” and a loud wedding was played, at which Wolfgang Mozart himself walked. In 1945, a mini-sculpture of Mozart appeared in the courtyard of the music school of Uzhgorod, which was installed by a local talented sculptor \u2013 the great-grandson of a couple in love, who was once married by a brilliant composer.<\/p>\n
