For many centuries, the main habitat of the famous Hungarian<\/a>the noble dynasty of pereni was Transcarpathia.<\/p>\n\n

Even in the middle ages, this family became a noble. At first, this dynasty had the surname Dobosh. Subsequently, after receiving from king’s<\/a> Andras II in 1240 in the ownership of the locality of Peren on the territory of The abauisk Comitatus, this dynasty received the surname Peren. Since 1321, about forty members of the pereni family have become najupans. One of them was Sigismund (Zsigmond) Pereni (1783-1849).<\/p>\n\n

In 1814, the Assembly of nobles elected him as the Chairman of the Berezsky komitat. He was the most progressive representative of the pereni family, actively engaged in charity, for which people loved him. Thanks to Sigmund pereni in Vinogradov<\/a> the first hospital was built. He gave his own land plot to the city on which the hospital buildings were later built.<\/p>\n\n

Baron Sigmund took an active part in the events of the revolution of 1848-1849. He particularly distinguished himself in the work Of the state Assembly in the city of Debrecen. At the meeting of the Assembly on April 14, 1849, decisions were made to overthrow Habsburg’s <\/a>and the Declaration of independence Hungarians<\/a>. Sigmund pereni was among the presiding officers at this meeting. It was for this that, after the defeat of the revolution, an Austrian court in 1849 sentenced him to death. The sentence was executed in pest on 24 October 1849.<\/p>\n\n
