Wooden church<\/a> Ascension<\/a> \u2013one of the most perfect in the entire territory Hutsul region<\/a>. Little temple<\/a>it is hidden away from the highway overloaded with tourists ‘ cars, at a distance of three kilometers from the Central part of the village, on the Bank of the Black yew. The Church has a decorative composition of three crosses and a date constructions<\/a> \u2013 1824. According to some researchers, this temple is much older and was founded in the XVI century.<\/p>\n\n

Eleven-meter wooden belfry<\/a>,which is located nearby, occupies one of the first places among the best examples of Transcarpathian folk architecture. It is said that it was moved here from the Northern part of the village in 1895. The date of construction of the bell tower is stamped on the bell tower \u2013 1813. A carved iconostasis has been preserved in the Church XIX century<\/a> with sincere images of saints.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

\u0412In 1971, the Church of the ascension was restored. In 1994, the Shrine was returned to the local Greek-Catholic<\/a> community.<\/p>\n
