Already at the end of the first Millennium ad, there was a Slavic settlement here. In the XII-XIII centuries, Vinogradov belonged to the Hungarian king and was inhabited mainly by Flemish and <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/zakarpatski-nimci\/\">Saxon<\/a> colonists. In the XII century, the Hungarian king Geiza II introduced the Comitatus division of the Kingdom and Vinogradov became the administrative center of the Ugocan Comitatus. In 1262, according to the Charter of the Hungarian king <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/zasnuvannja-ugorcjami-derzhavi-ta-ishtvan-svjatij\/\">Stephen V<\/a>, the settlement was the first in Transcarpathia to receive the privileges of a crown city. The townspeople had their own court, chose their own headman and priest, and could build <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/uzhgorodskij-skansen\/\">mills<\/a>, produce and sell <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/vinogradishhina-zemlja-vina-i-vinogradu\/\">wine<\/a>, crossing over <a href=\"https:\/\/go-to.rest\/blog\/saint-river-tysa\/\">Yew tree<\/a>, hunt and fish. Since that time, over nearly four centuries of sevliush, and later the whole Ugochanskyi the County belonged to the ancient family of the barons pereni. In 1427, the king allowed fairs to be held in Sevlush, which brought the pereni family and the townspeople a large income.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>\u2022 In the end XIX century Sevlyush became a local educational center. At that time, it had two public elementary schools and three Church schools.
