Scientists distinguish five styles of Transcarpathian wooden church<\/a>, between them \u2013 Hutsul<\/a>, on the street. <\/a>and boykovsky<\/a> \u2013named by ethnographic group<\/a> Transcarpathian population, and accordingly two more – gothic<\/a> and baroque<\/a> \u2013 according to the corresponding styles in stone architecture.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lemkov and boykovo wooden churches preserved for posterity the ancient ways Ukrainian temple architecture<\/a>, which are based on the principle of Trinity-the Church is divided into three parts, three log houses, three on top. The temples were built in the boykovo style and are still preserved in the upper reaches of the river Uzh<\/a>. Lemko Church<\/a> posted in Transcarpathian Museum of folk architecture and life<\/a>.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hutsul style is represented by two five-domed temples inASN<\/a> and Lazeshchyna-Potawatomi and five temples in Sredneuralsk style. Towers with a Baroque dome adorn the temples 22Volovets<\/a>–Mezhgorsky<\/a> Verkhovynas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gothic churches with high pointed spires were preserved in the villages Daniel<\/a>, Kraynykove<\/a>, Aleksandrovka<\/a>, Sokirnitsa<\/a>, Neresnica<\/a>, Lower Apshi<\/a>.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The oldest Transcarpathian wooden churches that have survived to this day are the Nicholas Church, located in the village Average Water Pressure<\/a>, it was built as early as 1428, and the Church in the village of Kolodnoye was built in 1470.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each wooden temple is an inimitable, masterpiece concentration of paintings, carvings, embroidery, unique monuments of writing and printing. Wooden churches are monuments of our presence in history, sources of inexhaustible aesthetic pleasure and one of the most attractive objects tourism’s<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
