Beregove, the third largest city of Transcarpathia #90

Description

A visit to the third largest city of Transcarpathia, Berehove, will present a rare opportunity to feel abroad without traveling outside Ukraine. And it's not about the differences in architecture or the kitchen, but the language barrier. Most of the city's population is Hungarians. It becomes noticeable immediately: the breeze develops two flags over the City Council: Ukrainian and Hungarian. Signs and announcements are written first in Hungarian and then translated into the national language.
